The Panorama School Board discussed some proposed projects in the coming years, as well as ways to fund them.
Superintendent Kasey Huebner says that while the bond the school put out to vote did not pass last November, there are still several needs the district has that need to be addressed. He tells Raccoon Valley Radio that one such project is the elementary school roof repair that will be going on this summer, but that there are some more as well.
“We’re also looking at a secure entrance, looking at allowing our shop room to expand by moving the art room, remodeling our weight room, looking at the building EIFS (Exterior Insulation and Finish System) system and looking at the elementary playground as well.”
Huebner mentioned that talks in the meeting boiled down to figuring out how to move forward, what’s best for the district, and that they took a look at where they are financially and how to check off some of those projects. He adds that nothing was approved in regards to proposed projects, but that they were just discussed.
