On Monday, the Perry Bluejays soccer team traveled to Nevada to face off against the Cubs. Perry battled but fell to the Cubs 7-0 falling to 5-4-1 overall and 2-1 in conference play.

The Bluejays battled, but the Cubs pressure was relentless, scoring four goals in the first half. Coming back from the break, Perry’s defense continued to battle but Nevada pressed on, notching in four more goals to defeat the Bluejays 7-0.

Perry looks to bounce back on Tuesday, traveling to Jefferson to face off against the Greene County Rams in Heart of Iowa Conference play. The Bluejays look to shift momentum back into their favor, with the action against the Rams set to begin at 7:15pm.
