The West Central Valley Girls and Boys Track and Field Teams competed at the Des Moines Christian Coed Meet on Monday, as freshman Drew Teague garnered fifth place in the Boys 110 Meter Hurdles.

Teague ran a time of 19.13 seconds to secure fifth place. Also, sophomore Grayson Nims notched ninth in the open 400 Meters at 1:04.35, then freshman Landen Beasley ran 15.03 seconds in the open 100 Meters, 32.57 seconds in the open 200 Meters, and went a distance of 11 feet and nine inches in the Boys Long Jump.

For the girls, Wildcat junior Willow Ray won the High Jump going five feet and two inches, while freshman Kya Andrist finished eighth in the open 400 Meters at 1:14.65 and ran 31.03 seconds in the open 200 Meters for 12th place. In addition, sophomore Isabella Teague threw 89 feet and 7.50 inches in the Discus, and sophomore Janae Dukes recorded a distance of 27 feet and nine inches in the Shot Put.

The West Central Valley Track and Field Teams will be back in action this afternoon participating in the Hawk Relays in Woodward against seven other schools. The full results from the DMC Coed Meet can be found by clicking here.
