
The Perry Jayettes soccer team bounced back in conference play on Tuesday night, playing host to the Greene County Rams. The Jayettes scored eight goals in the shut out, to secure a 2-1 conference record after the 8-0 victory.
Three Jayettes scored twice against the Rams, with three goals scored in the first half, and an incredible five goals scored in the second half. Mariana Cerna, Analeigh Van Broekhuizen, and Yami Gonzalez scored twice each for six goals, Juana Calderon and Addison Perks also scored to complete the eight goals. With the victory, the Jayettes advance to 4-3-1 overall record.
Perry wraps up the week on Friday at home, playing host to the Panorama Panthers. Kickoff is set to begin at 5:30pm.
