The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Girls Track and Field Team participated in the Carlisle Invitational on Thursday, as junior Isabelle Book and senior Lauren Hagedorn helped the Tigers place third, out of nine schools.

ADM scored 103 total points, finishing behind Ames (127) and North Polk, who won with 159 points. Book won the Girls 100 Meters Dash with a time of 12.51 seconds, then also came in first in the open 200 Meter Dash at 25.39 seconds, while Hagedorn threw 123 feet and eight inches for first place in the Girls Discus Throw, and notched the top spot in the shot put, with a distance of 36 feet and 8.50 inches.

Also, Tiger freshman Clara Uthe was second in the 400 Meter Hurdles, followed by junior Bella Smyth placed fourth in the 100 Meter Hurdles with a time of 15.55 seconds, junior Lydia Georgick captured fourth in the 400 Meters at 1:07.70, sophomore Elliotte Von Roden got fourth place in the 1500 Meters at 5:10.95, and junior Allie Eggleston finished fifth in the 800 Meters at 2:35.44.

The Tigers will next compete in the Raccoon River Conference Meet this coming Wednesday at ADM High School in Adel, starting at 4pm. The full results from the Carlisle Invite can be found by clicking here.
