On Friday, the Perry Jayettes soccer team played host to the Panorama Panthers. The Jayettes battled throughout the entire match but unfortunately fell to Panorama 7-0.
It was a very physical match up between both teams as the Jayettes refused to make the match easy for the Panthers. Keep Karina Perez battled until the very end but the Panthers notched in three goals in the first half, and four in the second. Perez didn’t waver in the box, with three key saves in the second half alone to keep the Panthers from continuing their run.
Now at 4-4-1, the Jayettes return to action on Tuesday, on the road to face off against the Grand View Christian Thunder in Heart of Iowa Conference play. The match is set to begin at 7:30pm.
