
The Dallas Center-Grimes Mustangs girls golf team return to action on Monday, traveling to the Veenker Memorial Golf Course in Ames for the Turk Bowman Invite. Originally scheduled for April 27th, the meet was pushed back to Monday, May 4th to begin at 10am.
DCG will face off against golfers from nine other schools including: Ames, Ankeny, Des Moines Lincoln, Des Moines Roosevelt, Dowling Catholic, Fort Dodge, Gilbert, Indianola, and Marshalltown. Senior Joey Moberg continues to find success, leading the Mustangs in the 18 hole low score and average with a low score of 81 strokes and an average of 85.13. Junior Greer Kleis has the second best 18 hole average score, with 94.13 strokes and a 18 hole low score of 91 as her best.
Now reaching the tail end of the season, the Mustangs return to action on Monday traveling to Ames for the Turk Bowman Invite. The action is set to begin at 10am.
