The Perry Jayettes golf team placed second in a contested battle at the ADM girls golf invitational. The Jayettes took second place with a team score of 215 strokes.

It was a close battle for second place between Perry and Ogden, as the Bulldogs finished in third with a team score of 221 strokes. The Whelchel’s led the charge for the Jayettes, with Kalley in first for Perry with a score of 47 strokes with Karagyn behind her by two strokes with a score of 49. Macy Vail and Olivia Brammer rounded out the side for Jayettes with scores of 60 and 59 strokes.

The Jayettes return to action on Thursday, playing host to ADM, Dallas Center-Grimes and Winterset. The action is set to begin at 4pm.
