
The Panora City Council will meet in regular session Monday night.
The Council will consider for approval a liquor license and tobacco license for Panora Liquor LLC, and set a public hearing for a proposed fiscal year 2025-26 budget amendment for the city. They will also consider for approval a resolution approving interfund transfers for the fiscal year 2026 budget, and a request to the Iowa Department of Transportation for the closure of Highway 44 at certain times on the days of July 20th and 21st for the Register’s Annual Great Bicycle Ride Across Iowa (RAGBRAI), as well as July 31st, August 1st and 2nd for Panorama Days.
The meeting begins at 5:30pm in Council Chambers at Panora City Hall. For those unable to attend in person, there is a digital option available via GoToMeeting. Raccoon Valley Radio will have results from the meeting later in the week.
