The Panora Public Library is looking forward to some of their regular partnered programming with another Guthrie County entity.

Library Director Molly Allen says that Guthrie County Iowa State University Extension and Outreach will be at the library for their regularly scheduled monthly program on May 21st at 4pm. She tells Raccoon Valley Radio more about it.

“Guthrie County ISU Extension will be here to present a program called Blast Off for Youth in kindergarten through third grade. And participants will discover what it’s like to be an astronaut and take on hands-on space challenges like building rockets and testing parachutes.”

Allen mentions that they do ask for registration for this event, as they need a minimum number of participants to hold it. She adds that parents can register their children by signing up through the library’s website, or calling them.
