Funeral service for Janice Strawn, 89, of Jefferson, will be held at 1:00pm Saturday, May 23, 2026 at Slininger-Schroeder Funeral Home, Jefferson. Interment will be in the Greenbrier Township Cemetery, rural Jefferson, Greene County, Iowa.
Visitation, with the family present to greet friends, will take place 5:00pm – 7:00pm on Friday, May 22, 2026 at Slininger-Schroeder Funeral Home, Jefferson.
Survivors include her sons: Steven (Kathy) Strawn of Queen Creek, AZ; Bruce (Deanna) Strawn of Katy, TX; Kirk (Mary) Strawn of Phoenix, AZ; and Erik (Regina) Strawn of Jefferson, IA; exchange-student son, Antonio Sousa of Oporto, Portugal; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren with two on the way; other relatives and friends.
