The Iowa High School Athletic Association and Iowa High School Girls Athletic Union announced more qualifiers for the 2026 Iowa State Track and Field meet.

For the girls, Cadence Petersen was able to punch her ticket to the Blue Oval in the 400 meter hurdles. For the boys, the 4×100 meter relay team of Joe Crawford, Brexton Schneider, Tommy Skram and Talon Noland, the 4×200 meter relay team of Crawford, Skram, Kade Sorensen and Noland, along with Ryan Martens in the long jump and Jack Sheeder in the shot put will also be competing at the state meet. 400m Hurdles: Cadence Petersen – Ranked 19th in Class

 

Boys

4x100m: Joe Crawford, Brexton Schneider, Tommy Skram, Talon Noland – Ranked 10th in Class

4x200m: Joe Crawford, Tommy Skram, Kade Sorensen, Talon Noland – Ranked 15th in Class

Long Jump: Ryan Martens – Ranked 18th in Class

Shot Put: Jack Sheeder – Ranked 21st in Class
