Timothy Redding, Van Meter, was driving east bound in the 28000 block of 240th St when he crested a hill and collided with a man riding a bicycle. The cyclist, Fidel Vasquez Goyzueta, address unknown, was taken to the hospital for evaluation of any injuries. Damage to Mr. Redding’s vehicle was estimated at $5,000.
Barbara Knau, Windsor Heights, was driving on Hwy 141 near T Ave when she attempted to make a turn into the median to change directions. She did not see a vehicle in the other lane and collided with a vehicle driven by Sa Tonius Parker, Urbandale. No injuries were reported and damage was estimated to Ms. Knau’s vehicle at $25,000. Damage to Mr. Parker’s vehicle was estimated at $20,000. Ms. Knau was cited for Improper Lane change.

Braxton Knight, Boone, was driving in the 16000 block of Hwy 169 when he lost control of his vehicle and went into the ditch hitting a farm fence and a utility pole. He had minor injuries, but declined EMS. Damage to Mr. Knight’s vehicle was estimated at $5,000. Damage to the fence and utility pole was estimated at $5,400.
