Funeral services for Jack Eugene Long, 84, of De Soto, will be Thursday at 11:30 am at the McCalley Funeral Home in Adel.  Burial will be in the Otterman Cemetery.  Visitation with the family present will be at 10 am until the time of the service.  Memorial contributions will be determined by the family.  Online condolences may be left for the family at mccalleyfuneralhome.com.  Survivors include:  Wife, Dolores Barker.  Children, DeAnn Bandy of Adel, Deb Kolk of Adel, Jim Long of Bennington, Nebraska, Jodi Draisey of Adel and Jeff Long of Des Moines.  14 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 2 great great granddaughters.  Brother, Homer Long of Dallas, Oregon.
