Tuesday, July 5th
A deputy assisted a Jefferson Police Officer with checking a reported suspicious person walking near the Dairy Queen in Jefferson. No one was found upon the police officer and deputy’s arrival.
A deputy was dispatched to the 1300 block of 170th Street to investigate a reported burglary to a building site.
Wednesday, July 6th
A deputy was dispatched to the 300 block of North 17th Street in Grand Junction for a tree that was blown down in the thunderstorm and was partially blocking the roadway.
A deputy, Churdan Fire, Greene County Secondary Roads and Midland Power Cooperative all responded to a power line that was knocked down by a falling tree on D Avenue between 140th and 150th streets. The tree was reported on fire from the contact of the electrical lines.
A deputy and Greene County Secondary Roads personnel responded to a tree that was blocking D Avenue just north of 125th Street. The secondary roads crew cleared the tree from the roadway.
In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
