A large series of garage sales that extends through Dallas and Guthrie counties takes place next weekend and this year they’ve expanded.

The 14th annual Highway 141 garage sale takes place Friday and Saturday.  Vendors, garage sales and flea markets will be set up both in towns and along the highway.  The route extends 177 miles from Sloan in the west to Grimes to the east.  In addition, local community organizations and civic groups often provide food and refreshments to supplement the area stores and restaurants.
