Iowa-StateSeal.svgA Guthrie Center resident has recently been recognized for 40 years of service to the State of Iowa.

 

Karen Finnegan, who works in the Iowa Attorney General’s office, was recently presented with an award signed by Governor Terry Branstad and Attorney General Tom Miller.

 

In Finnegan’s role in the Office of Consumer Advocate, she works to follow the department’s mission of representing the state’s consumers and maintaining safe, reliable, reasonably-priced and nondiscriminatory utility services.
