A Grand Junction woman faces several drug charges, following a search warrant over the weekend.

Greene County Sheriff Steve Haupert says 44 year-old Brenda Jean Kennedy is charged with felonies for distribution of methamphetamine and two counts of unlawful possession of prescription drugs, along with misdemeanors for distribution of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The charges stem from an executed search warrant in the 400 block of North 16th Street in Grand Junction on Saturday at 10:54am. Four members of the Sheriff’s office and a Jefferson Police Officer found the narcotics-related items during the search.

She was booked and released from the Greene County jail.
