Believe it or not, despite Creson’s recent dominance, tonight’s game between the ADM Tigers and the Creston Panthers will not only be a David vs. Goliath like match but also a match to even the four year tie between these two teams.
The past two meetings between these two teams have gone to the Panthers but it was the ADM Tigers who took two wins away from Creston back in 2013 and 2012. While the match up may seem like an overwhelming David and Goliath story, the match up between the Tigers and the Panthers is closer to an even contest than some would think.
While Creston does yield the third best rushing attack in class 3A in terms of overall yardage with 2,093 to this point and second in the class in rushing touchdowns with 34, but it is the ADM Tigers who crack the top five in terms of overall passing yards in class 3A with 1,557. The Tigers also have 24 aerial touchdowns to compliment the 4th most passing yards in the class.
The battle for the four year tie breaker kicks off from Creston and can be heard on K107.9FM with pregame coverage set to take place at 7:00 and kickoff at 7:30.
