Perry residents can get rid of their personal and sensitive documents without worry today.
The City of Perry and the library are hosting a shred event this morning. Each person can bring up to two boxes of paper to the south parking lot of the library free of charge. Info Dog Security’s mobile shredder will take the documents and shred them into tiny pieces before your eyes on a screen.
Library Director Mary Murphy says it’s a popular service they usually offer once per year.
The shred event takes place from 10am until noon.
