A Greene County woman has been charged with perjury after a being deceptive at a court hearing last month.
According to the Jefferson Police Department, Kimberly Ore and Christopher Lawrence were charged with burglary for an incident in the Greene County Medical Center parking lot on July 7th. Ore pleated guilty to the charge in late August. During a deposition at the courthouse on September 15th in regards to Lawrence’s burglary charge Ore claimed she was with another individual and not him during the crime. An investigation shows this was deceptive and she now faces an additional Class D Felony charge of perjury.
