The Dallas County Board of Supervisors met in regular session Tuesday.
At the meeting the Board approved payroll change notices for the Sheriff’s office and Emergency Medical Services department.
Dana Wernimont with Design Alliance reported that the 902 Court building construction project is on schedule with the exception of a delay in the carpet delivery. The first phase of the project should still be done by Thanksgiving as long as the carpet is received and installed soon.
The fifth pay application to Edge Commercial LLC for the north campus project was then approved as presented, in the amount of $169,296.
A vehicle purchase request from the Sheriff’s office was then approved. The department is trading in a 2013 Ford SUV for a 2017 utility police interceptor at a total cost of $18,800.
The continuation of a contract with Metro Waste Authority was then discussed and Environmental Health Director Ted Trewin was asked to bring a copy of the current contract to next week’s Board meeting.
The Supervisors tabled a change order for the contract with Renaissance Roofing for limestone repairs and then went into a closed session to discuss pending litigation.
