Memorial services for Richard W. Adkins, 81, of Dexter, will be Friday at 10:30 am at the Bear Creek Friends Church near Earlham.  Visitation will be Thursday from 5 pm to 7 pm at the Johnson Family Funeral Home in Dexter.  Memorial contributions may be directed to the Dexter Library and may be sent in care of the Johnson Family Funeral Home in Stuart.  Online condolences may be left at johnsonfamilyfuneralhome.com.
