There will soon be new lights at the Perry High School baseball and softball fields.

The board of education approved plans and specifications for the project during a special meeting Friday morning.

Superintendent Lynn Ubben says the project will be put out to bid in the near future and the district hopes the bids are favorable.

They’re looking to have the project completed as soon as possible.
