The December portion of the schedule for the boys’ swimming team at Boone High School has been completed. Greene County students Lucas Ausberger and Mason Osborne swim for Boone under an athletic sharing agreement.

The Toreadors last December meet was last Thursday in Carroll with Carroll and Atlantic and both meets were very close. Boone was a 48-46 winner over Carroll, while Atlantic edged the Toreadors, 48-45.

Ausberger’s top varsity finish was third in the 200 freestyle relay. He was also fifth in the 100 breaststroke. Osborne was fourth in the 100 butterfly.

The next competition for Boone is on January 3rd.
