Hy-Vee employees from the past and present joined dozens of customers this weekend in celebrating 40 years of business. 

Former Store Director Denny Glick came back for the event and reminisced about the good times. 

“It makes me feel real good that people are always excited to see me when I come back, it just gives me a really food feeling.”

Glick took some time to bag groceries Saturday.  Employees who have been at the store for 25 years or more were honored and everyone got to enjoy free cake.
