The Ballard Bombers slowed down a red hot Perry girls team Friday night as the Bombers led from start to finish in defeating Perry 59-38 to earn the season sweep. Ballard took advantage of a slow start shooting by Perry as the Bombers raced out to a 10-0 lead. Perry cut it down to single digits on numerous occasions but could never take the lead. Ballard finished with 12 3-point baskets and enjoyed solid shooting all night long. Jenna Moody led the way with 16 points.
Perry was paced by Grace Marburger’s 15 points and Molly Lutmer’s 10. Perry falls to 12-6 on the year and 6-5 in RRC action. The Jayettes will host Boone Tuesday night.
