A rural Stuart Man faces felony charges for an alleged child abuse incident.

According to the Guthrie County Sheriff’s office, 36-year-old Justin Hillock was taken into custody Friday and charged with sexual abuse in the third degree and indecent contact with a child.

Hillock was charged based on trial information filed by Assistant Attorneys General Laura Roan and Tyler Buller. Sexual Abuse in the third degree is a class C felony and carries a maximum penalty of ten years in prison. Indecent contact with a child is an aggravated misdemeanor with a maximum penalty of two years in prison.

Hillock will be arraigned April 17th at 9:00am.
