isu extensionA program for seniors at the Guthrie County Extension Office is intended to help them protect themselves from scams. “Savvy Seniors” an informal coffee and informational session will give attendees strategies to prevent them being taken advantage of. Mollie Clark with Extension says the program can be a great asset for seniors.

“If you are a victim, it will let you know how fraud occurs and how best to report it law enforcement.”

The program will be held May 31 at 10:00 a.m. Pre-registration is requested. To register call 641-747-2276 or ask about the event in person at the extension office in Guthrie Center. Although the program is targeted at seniors, all are welcome to attend.
