Today is the first day of the Dallas County Fair, and Raccoon Valley Radio will be broadcasting live from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.

The Big Red Radio will be at the county fairgrounds in Adel playing music, relaying important information, and giving live results on air. The day’s fair activities include: check-ins for sheep, goats, and rabbits, as well as weigh-ins for beef and junior feeder pens; the horse show performance; public viewing of the 4-H static exhibits; and the beginning of the 4-H Foundation silent auction. The day will conclude at 8 p.m. with the livestock judging contest at the show ring.
