An early first inning lead for the Tigers was not enough as ADM fell in their regular season finale to Pella by the final score of 6-2.

The bulk of the ADM offense came early with three out of the teams four total hits coming in that first inning alone. Overall ADM ended with those two runs off of four hits, committing one error, and leaving three runners on base. Meanwhile Pella connected on 10 hits for 6 runs while conducting a clean came in the field and leaving 7 runners on base.

ADM’s early lead came in the form of 2-1 following one inning after Jack O’Brien connected on his 23rd RBI of the season followed by Logan Crannell’s 15th RBI of the season. Pella would equalize the game at 2-2 in the very next inning and followed that up with a big 4 run third inning to break open a four run lead for the Dutch.  From there it would be all defense as both teams would not be able to push across a single run through the final four frames, unfortunately ending off ADM’s regular season with a loss.

Offensively Logan Crannell provided half the offense with two of the teams four hits and one of the team’s two RBI’s. Jack O’Brien collected the team’s other RBI while going 1-3 at the plate. Dalton Hews would acquire one hit as well.

Nick Dufoe would get the starting nod on the mound for the Tigers and got roughed up a bit taking the loss on over 2 innings of work while giving up 6 hits including a home run for five earned runs  while also striking out three and walking three.

ADM ends their 2017 regular season with an 18-13 overall record and a non conference mark of 10-7.
