Greene County’s High School baseball team had its six game winning streak snapped in Alleman on Tuesday night by North Polk. The Rams are hoping to start another streak when they face ADM at 5 p.m. tomorrow in the opening round of Class 3A District 15 tournament baseball in Harlan. The Tigers have lost four of their last five games and are 18-13 while the Rams stand at 13-12.

The Tigers have a .287 team batting average and score 6.48 runs per game. Their team earned run average is 4.34. Senior Kade Overton is the top hitter with a .392 average, one home run, one triple, eight doubles, 21 runs batted in, and 32 runs scored. Junior Nick Lindgren is batting .373 with three homers, one triple, 10 doubles, 27 RBI, and 25 runs scored. Overton and junior Dalton Hews have thrown the most innings at 39-1/3 and 40-1/3, respectively. Overton has a 5-3 record while Hews is 3-2. The Tigers have six pitchers with more wins than losses, and defensively they average just over two errors per game.

The Rams have a .283 team batting average and score an average of 5.36 runs per game. The team ERA is 2.33 with senior Dylan Fouch, junior Ben Wilkins, and sophomore Austin Delp each with earn run averages under two per seven innings. Senior Trey Tucker is the top hitter at .412 with one homer, seven triples, 11 doubles, 20 RBI, and 18 runs scored. Senior Chase Stoline is hitting .342 with 22 runs scored, and is 34 of 37 stealing bases. Senior Logan Lansman is batting .304 and has swiped 12 bags in 16 attempts. The Rams are 92 for 111 as a team on the base paths. The Greene County defense averages 2.6 errors per game.
