The final offensive statistics have finally been released by head coach Rick Dillinger for the ADM Tiger softball team for the 2017 campaign.
In the entirety of the 2017 season, the Lady Tigers hit .294 as a team while slugging .386 with 152 RBI’s, all while facing 15 top 15 ranked teams. ADM had 292 hits total on the year broken down into 228 singles, 50 doubles, no triples, and 14 home runs. The Lady Tigers put up 31 sacrifice fly’s while being issued 106 walks compared to 148 strikeouts.
Ashley Tennant led the way individually for ADM amassing a batting average of .426 with 29 RBI’s in the process. She also led the team in slugging percentage at .574 and on base percentage at a mark of .462. The junior put up 9 doubles and 3 home runs this season while striking out just nine times. ADM’s RBI leader belongs to senior slugger Kila Carbine who ended her senior season with a team best 30 RBI’s along with a team best 5 home runs. The leader of the pack in doubles for ADM was freshmen Abbie Hlas with nine while the teams leader in stolen bases belonged to senior Lexi Wyant with 3.
