The Dallas County Board of Supervisors will convene Tuesday morning in regular session.

One topic they will tackle is the countywide petition to put local option sales tax measures on the November general election ballot. Perry City Administrator Sven Peterson will present the petition signed by around 2,300 county residents. It will be considered for approval by the Supervisors before potentially moving into the hands of the County Auditor’s Office.

The Board will also consider a draft of an ordinance related to pioneer cemeteries. Other topics to be discussed for possible action include: a resolution for an employee blood draw; a request for withdrawal from an agricultural area; the emergency medical service’s “I Am Responding” subscription; and a workshop with the County Treasurer’s Office.

The meeting is open to the public and will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday in the Board of Supervisors meeting room in downtown Adel.
