Registrations are now being accepted for this year’s Greene County Chamber and Tourism Golf Outing.

Tourism and Events Coordinator Michael Reese says the annual event is a way for the Chamber to say “thank you” to its members, but they also want to allow everyone an opportunity to have fun together.

“We’re opening it up to the general public. So if you have a foursome in our company and you want to join us with the golf outing, you’re going to be more than welcomed to do that. And you’ll inevitably get a sales pitch from me to the benefits of being a Chamber member.”

A four-person team is $200, which includes dinner at the end of the outing. Other options include hole sponsorships with a foursome team, which is $300, hole sponsorship without a foursome for $175, and if you only want the dinner, it is $15.

It will be held at the Jefferson Community Golf Course on Friday, September 15th. Registrations begin at 9:30am, with the shotgun start at 10. Lunches will be provided at the clubhouse for $5 per golfer. The dinner will follow the outing.
