Have you ever been on one of the bike trails and encountered something you didn’t recognize? If you have, Dallas County Conservation has your answers with an in-the-field specialist.

Forest Park Museum Curator Pete Malmberg explains, “Our ‘Naturalist on the Trail,’ we call it NOTT, Cindy Blobaum, she’s our Naturalist that goes on the trail and answers people’s questions. She will be present one day per month, April through October. So you may just see her if you’re out on the trail walking your dog or riding a bike, and stop her to ask her any questions you have regarding natural stuff. She’s a wonderful resource.”

Malmberg adds, you never know where Blobaum could pop up on the trails, so people should watch the Conservation Board’s website and Facebook page for dates and trail sections.
