Red Cross

Students at Perry High School are doing their part to help the hungry and those in need by hosting a food drive for the American Red Cross.

The drive started Tuesday and will run until Wednesday, September 20th. The students are hosting the drive at the Perry Hy-Vee, Shopko, and Fareway. Acceptable donations include non-perishable food items and toiletries. With the recent devastation caused by Hurricane Harvey in Texas, and Hurricane Irma set to make landfall in Florida, the Red Cross’s resources have been stretched thin. With that in mind, the Perry High School students decided they would do their part to aid the organization in their continuing efforts.
