The high school sports calendar is quiet today for the Greene County Rams, but many athletes will be in action tomorrow.

Coach Jeff Lamoureux’s cross-country teams have their only Tuesday meet of the year tomorrow when they go to the South Central Calhoun Invitational at the golf course in Lake City. The Rams took part in last Thursday’s Leon Fox Invitational at Perry and continued to show improvement. The girls were fifth among 11 teams, and although the boys were last in a 12-team field, they closed the gap on some teams.

Donna Carhill’s volleyball Rams travel to Alleman tomorrow for Heart of Iowa Activities Conference volleyball at North Polk. The Rams are 5-16 in volleyball and will be looking to stop a 13-match losing streak.

The Greene County students that swim for Boone under an athletic sharing agreement will be in action tomorrow as the Toreadors host Carroll and Storm Lake.
