Guthrie County Iowa State Extension and Outreach will begin their Fall Commercial Applicator training sessions tomorrow. The 9 am session will cover roadside, forest, and aquatic pest management.

These courses are designed for those who wish to pursue Applicator license re-certification. The series runs through December 6th, with the final two courses on an appointment-only basis. Each session takes place at the Extension Office in Guthrie Center, and the cost is $35 per person.

Pre-registration is required. Below is the scheduled list of courses and contact information:

October 18, 9 am-Roadside, Aquatic, & Forest

November 1, 9 am-Mosquito and Public Health

November 8, 9 am-Ornamental and Turfgrass

November 14, 9 am-Fumigation

November 15, 9am-Commercial Ag.

December 6, 9 am-Pest Control Operators

Greenhouse and Ornamental/ Arial Applicators- By Appointment
