WCV (1)Halloween is next Tuesday. However, the West Central Valley Drama Department is waiting a few days to showcase their spooky show. They will perform Haunted Hamlet on November 3rd and 4th at 7 pm. Tickets are $5 for students and adults, and the performance will be held in the school gym.

Director Nancy Bauch describes the cast and their approach to learning the play and staying focused. “We just focus on getting together and creating something fun. If they’re having fun and creating these incredible characters, then they put the phones away and they don’t really pay attention to them.”

The comedy features several Shakespearean characters and is written by Steve Cross. About twenty students auditioned for a cast of about 15 for the hour-long play. For more information on the play, listen to today’s Let’s Talk Guthrie County Program.
