In case you missed it, today marks the end of Daylight Saving Time.
As of 2 a.m. today, we are now back on Central Standard Time, so set your clocks back an hour if you haven’t already. Each year, Daylight Saving Time starts the second Sunday in March and ends the first Sunday of November. It’s also a good time to replace the batteries in your smoke and carbon monoxide detectors. Perry Fire Chief Chris Hinds says that changing the batteries in your alarms at a fixed time twice a year will help ensure they’re in good, working order in the event of a fire or carbon monoxide leak.
