The Adair County 4-H Youth Council is hosting a special Middle School Dance at the Warren Cultural Center Opera House in Greenfield on March 22 from 7 to 10 P.M.  All area students in the fifth through eight grades are invited to attend this formal event and admission is one item to be donated to Micah House.

Adair County Extension Youth Coordinator Nina Utterback says Micah House, located inCouncil Bluffs, is a homeless shelter for women and children and are currently in need of canned foods – including fruits and vegetables, packages of diapers – specifically sizes 4-6, and packages of toilet paper.

Community members, who want to donate, can drop off items for the Micah House at the Adair County Extension Office,154 Public Square, Suite C in Greenfield, any time before March 25.  The Youth Council will then deliver the items to Micah House on their annual trek to Council Bluffs.  They will also help Micah House staff get ready for their annual fundraiser, auction and special party with games and snacks for the children.
