Greene County Chamber logoGreene County Chamber and Tourism invites the public to the next slate of Java and Juice programs in December.

Tourism and Events Coordinator Michael Reese says this Friday, Java and Juice will be held at the Greene County ISU Extension office. December 8th is at Medicap Pharmacy and December 15th is at Shadran’s Industrial and Sanitary Supplies. Reese adds there won’t be a Java and Juice program on December 22nd, due to the Christmas holiday. Reese says the weekly programs continue to be strong.

“It’s been great. (Jefferson Matters) Main Street has done a great job with it. We picked up right where they left off and I think, from what I’m hearing, there’s positive feedback as well.”

Java and Juice is a weekly program that allows attendees to learn about the host business and network with other business professionals. Reese points out that there are a few dates in January and February that any business can be a part of Java and Juice, including those who are not Chamber members.

“One of the things that we’re trying to do, as apart of the Greene County Chamber, is to be as inclusive as possible. So again any business in Greene County is welcomed to participate. Again, you’ll probably hear a spiel from one of us as far as trying to get you on board with the Chamber.”

Each Java and Juice takes place on Fridays at 9:30am. All programs are free and open to the public. Any business interested in hosting a Java and Juice program, contact the Chamber officer at 386-2155.
