Greene County Extension is continuing their Greene Living Series with a special program next month.
Extension Families Coordinator Sue Richardson says the “Having a Stress-Free Holiday” program will be happening on Tuesday, December 4th from 6 to 7:30pm at the Extension office in Jefferson. Participants will learn ways to reduce stress during the holiday season from Extension Human Sciences Specialist Dr. David Brown. Plus, there will be an optional two-minute massage from Licensed Massage Therapist Peggy Moranville, along with a drawing for a “relax basket.” Snacks will also be served.
Richardson says every Greene Living Series program has been successful since it started in August.
“This has been really popular, in fact to the point where we have to cut off participants, which we don’t like to do. We do have a full series planned from January through May of next year. We’re hoping that people will join us for that.”
December’s Greene Living Series is $15 per person and anyone interested must sign up by tomorrow’s deadline. Call 386-2138 or stop by the Extension office to register.
