The event takes place at First Christian Church and the Masonic Hall, with plenty of activities for the whole family. Kids can get their picture taken with Santa and Mrs. Claus, meet their reindeer, and even play a life-sized version of Candy Land. There will also be a Christmas candy station, crafts, hot cocoa, and cookies.

MSGC has wanted to incorporate the life-sized classic board game into an event for a while now. Program Director Dana Buster gives a taste of what’s in store. “We’ve been making the big pieces for it: giant lollipops and pieces of candy and the spaces. It’s going to be really fun and the kids can play and walk through Candy Land.”

The Chamber will also sell Chamber Bucks at the event. For more information on this event and other topics from MSGC, listen to Buster on today’s Let’s Talk Guthrie County program.
