The Iowa chapter of the Mighty Earth organization will be holding a press conference tomorrow outside of the Tyson Food facility in Perry.

The rally is part of their “Clean it Up, Tyson” campaign, a nationwide effort to encourage Tyson, the country’s largest meat producer, to address water pollution along its supply chain. The organization will deliver a petition to the company that contains over 1,000 names, as well as a coalition letter with 35 other organizations and businesses to underscore various perspectives regarding water pollution connected to the meat industry. Representatives of Mighty Earth will speak at the event, which will be held tomorrow from 10:15-11 a.m.
