Greene County Chamber and Tourism has two holiday promotions that are underway.

Tourism and Events Coordinator Michael Reese says starting tonight and on December 14th and the 21st, is an event called “Sip and Shop.” There are a few Chamber member businesses that will be open later on those Thursdays from 4 to 6pm for a special holiday promotion.

“You can sip on a little wine, some beverages, and if you just go around to each one of these retailers, they’re going to have some promotions for you, it gives you a chance to shop and keep your dollars local. It’ll be a really good event.”

Another promotion is the Chamber’s Christmas Certificate Giveaway event. Participating Chamber member businesses allow patrons to enter their name into a drawing for a prize pack full of coupons. Each Monday in December leading up to Christmas there will be a drawing for three winners. This past Monday’s winners include: Mary Pedersen from Jefferson, Stacy Stream from Jefferson and Cindi Van Horn from Glidden.
