Today is the big day for Christmas in Guthrie Center, before the actual big day of course. This afternoon from 1-4pm, Main Street Guthrie Center and the Guthrie Center Chamber of Commerce are hosting Christmas in Candy Land at the First Christian Church and the Masonic Hall.

Kids can get their picture taken with Santa and Mrs. Claus, meet their reindeer, and even play a life-sized version of Candy Land. There will also be a Christmas candy station, crafts, hot cocoa, and cookies. The Chamber will also sell Chamber Bucks at the event.
