Tonight marks the final regular season home basketball game for the Panorama Panthers as they host the Ogden Bulldogs in West Central Activities Conference action. The Panthers will use the night to recognize each team’s senior players along with celebrating one of the schools former state tournament teams. Panorama girls basketball coach Dan Druivenga was a guest on this week’s Karl Chevrolet of Stuart Guthrie County PM Sports Page and revealed the other celebration on Friday night. “We are also celebrating the 25th anniversary of our 1993, last 6-on-6 tournament team here (at Panorama),” Druivenga said, “Coach (Mark) McCright is coming out with a few of the girls on the team. It’s nice to see some old players that you coached, and it’s senior night, so it’s a big night to end the season at home.”

The Panorama girls basketball will celebrate the career of five seniors tonight. They include Devyn Kemble, Faith Powell, Kellie Prince, Nicole Rolfes, and Hope Wilderman. A win tonight would clinch an undefeated regular season home record. The Panthers have won nine games in Panora this season by an average margin of 29.9 points.

The Panorama boys basketball team will also honor the efforts of five seniors, including Blaine Barber, Tanner Godfrey, Aaron Irving, Jacob Merschman, and Dylan Perez. The Panthers will look to end a three-game losing streak overall. Tonights West Central Activities Conference doubleheader starts at 6 p.m. with the varsity girls game, and the boys will follow from Panorama High School in Panora.
