12:58am: While conducting Business Checks and officer located an Open Door at 300 West McKinley Street.
1:05am: An officer secured the building at 909 North Maple Street, after finding an Open Door.
9:57am: Brandon Gobble requested a Welfare Check at 108 West Central #5. Gobble believed a DHS order was being violated. Gobble was sent to DHS as the officer would not know of their orders in effect.
10:30am: Veronica Ellsbury reported her son had been assaulted by another student at 401 East Russell Street. The officer is investigating.
1:47pm: A Department of Human Services worker reported a Sexual Abuse reported to DHS that had occurred in Jefferson 5 years ago. The officer is gathering information to begin an investigation.
3:46pm: A Traffic Stop was performed in the 100 Block of North Cedar Street, resulting in Benito Ortiz of Grand Junction being cited for, “Driving While Suspended and Fail to Provide Proof of Security Liability.”
5:03pm: Layla Rysavy reported her juvenile son was being harassed by a known juvenile female. The officer contacted the parent of the female and advised both parties to end contact with each other.
5:23pm: John Voss reported a deceased cat in the roadway at Reed and Oak Streets. The officer removed the animal and disposed of it.
